CO-REGULATION, LEADERSHIP, AND EMOTIONAL SAFETY

THE REGULATED RELATIONSHIP™:

Adult + Child

The Regulated Relationship: Adult & Child is a 6-week Nervous System Regulation (NSR)–based program designed to support adults who

care for, teach, or guide children.

This work focuses on adult-led co-regulation; learning how to stay regulated, present, and responsive so children can borrow safety, stability, and emotional regulation through relationship.

Children do not learn regulation in isolation.
They learn it through regulated adults.

This is not a behavior program for children.
It is a leadership-based regulation program for adults.

Trauma-informed. Body-based. Structured for real life.

UPCOMING 2026 COHORTS

Weekly live sessions • Small groups • Limited spots

Winter Cohort | Mar 4 – Apr 8

Spring Cohort | Apr 15 – May 20

What Changes Through This Work?

As adults build nervous system regulation capacity,

many experience:

  • Fewer power struggles and escalations

  • Increased confidence in responding instead of reacting

  • Stronger trust and connection with children

  • Calmer environments at home, school, or caregiving settings

  • Greater clarity around boundaries without fear or shame

When the adult nervous system changes, the relationship changes.

What Is The Program Structure?

  • 6-week live cohort

  • 1 session per week

  • Wednesdays | 8:00–9:00pm

  • Group-based, experiential learning

  • Capped enrollment to maintain safety and containment

Sessions include nervous system education, guided regulation practices, real-world application, and integration support.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE REGULATED RELATIONSHIP COHORT SESSIONS

*If deeper therapeutic care is needed, referrals or collaboration are discussed.

PROGRAM FOCUS

This program works with the nervous system dynamics that show up in real-time adult–child relationships.

Core focus areas include:

  • Adult self-regulation during moments of stress or escalation

  • Co-regulation skills that support a child’s nervous system

  • Recognizing early activation before reactions take over

  • Creating emotional safety without fear-based authority

  • Leading with consistency instead of control

The emphasis is not on “fixing” a child’s behavior, but on shifting the relational environment where regulation is learned.
