What Is EFT Tapping?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often referred to as “tapping,” is a therapeutic somatic practice that blends gentle acupressure with mindful affirmations. It’s like acupuncture—without the needles—and instead of diving into your thoughts alone, you’re also dialoguing with your body’s truth.

By rhythmically tapping on specific energy meridian points on the face and upper body while speaking aloud, you signal to the nervous system that it’s safe to soften, release, and rewire the emotional pattern.

Think of EFT as an emotional circuit reset—offering the body permission to let go of old beliefs, unresolved grief, anxiety, fear, or shame… all without bypassing the truth of your lived experience.
