ABOUT
The Regulated Relationship: Couples is a 6-week live, trauma-informed Nervous System Regulation (NSR) program designed to support couples in navigating communication, conflict, and accountability without shutdown, escalation, or fear. This program focuses on regulation inside relationship; helping each partner recognize nervous system activation and respond with presence rather than protection. Communication skills are introduced only after regulation is established, allowing couples to engage honestly without defensiveness, avoidance, or collapse. The program combines nervous system education with body-based regulation practices and structured relational tools, including mirror, validation, and problem-solving skills. Sessions focus on regulating fear responses related to conflict, confrontation, rejection, and emotional vulnerability; so accountability and repair can occur without threatening the relationship. This is not couples therapy, conflict mediation, or emotional processing. The Regulated Relationship: Couples is a structured, paced, experiential program that prioritizes regulation before communication and integration over intensity. Sessions are held every other Saturday morning (8:00–9:30am) to allow couples time between meetings to practice, reflect, and apply what they’re learning in real life. This bi-weekly rhythm supports meaningful integration and results, without creating dependency or a therapy-like dynamic. Couples attend together and are supported within a small, contained cohort over the 6 weeks. The program is capped at 10 couples to maintain safety, depth, and relational focus.
