The Regulated Relationship: Adult & Child

Jun 3, 2026 - Jul 8, 2026

ABOUT

The Regulated Relationship: Adult & Child is a 6-week live, trauma-informed Nervous System Regulation (NSR) program designed to support adults who care for, teach, or guide children in building emotional safety through co-regulation. This program focuses on adult nervous system regulation as the foundation for a child’s ability to regulate. Rather than addressing child behavior in isolation, the work centers on helping adults remain regulated, responsive, and grounded during moments of stress, dysregulation, and relational rupture. The program combines nervous system education with body-based, regulation practices that support stability, presence, and leadership in adult–child relationships. Weekly live sessions focus on recognizing early signs of activation, regulating physiological stress responses in real time, and applying co-regulation skills that reduce escalation and increase trust. This is not child behavior modification, discipline training, or therapy. The Regulated Relationship: Adult & Child is a structured, paced, and experiential program that prioritizes regulation before communication and leadership before control; creating the conditions for sustainable relational change. Participants attend one weekly live session and are supported within a shared cohort community over the 6 weeks, allowing for consistency, reflection, and integration across home, school, or caregiving environments.
