I built Sōma+Soul™ because I lived the version of this work that didn't work. I sat in talk therapy for years. I journaled. I read every book. And my body still couldn't regulate.
It wasn't until I found somatic practices; body-based, nervous system-first, felt-sense work that something finally shifted. Not a thought. A physical release in tissue that had been braced for years.
As an Integrated Somatic Trauma Practitioner, I've spent the past few years learning why the body holds what the mind tries to release and how to create the conditions for it to actually let go.

Recognize
Lessons 1–2 · Weeks 1–4
Learn to feel what's happening before the reaction happens. Identify your nervous system states, your triggers, and the sensations that signal what's coming.

Recognizing what's been keeping you from going deeper and choosing to go anyway. Vulnerability requires a felt sense of safety first. The body needs to believe it’s okay to be seen before the mind can open.
Understanding Limited Beliefs
What happens when old patterns lose their power. The discomfort of the in-between. Confronting a core belief we’ve held for decades triggers cognitive dissonance — which the nervous system reads as threat. The body contracts. Fight/flight activates.
Patterns & Triggers
Going beneath the surface. Meeting what's been waiting there. A threat that’s no longer there. If that energy isn’t discharged, it loops; becoming chronic tension, anxiety, or shutdown.
Deepest Truths + The Why Behind the Lie
The work that can't be rushed. Sitting with what is. This is the deepest material in the entire journey; abandoned parts, protective mechanisms, the stories we built to survive.
Trauma, Inner Child, Forgiveness
Letting go of what was never yours to carry. What that actually feels like in the body. This is the most emotionally and somatically intense phase of the entire journey. Trauma lives in the body, not just the mind; which means releasing it requires body-based tools, not just journaling. Inner child work without somatic support can re-traumatize.
Transformation + Heart-Centered Decisions
After clearing the old, the nervous system needs to learn what alignment feels like. Most people have never made decisions from a regulated body — they’ve always decided from fear, should, or external pressure. Heart-centered decision making is literally a somatic skill: learning to feel the body’s yes vs. no.
Clarity, Purpose + Goal Setting
Goals set from anxiety sound like: ‘I need to prove myself,’ ‘I’m not enough yet,’ ‘I have to escape this life.’ Goals set from a regulated state sound like: ‘I want to build this because it’s true to who I am.’ The body knows the difference. Somatic goal-setting is a nervous system check before action planning: Are you creating from expansion or from fear?
Vision + Integration
The exhale is the body’s completion signal. After 20 weeks of deep work, the nervous system needs a gentle, ceremonial landing. Integration isn’t just intellectual — the body needs to absorb and consolidate the entire journey.

We arrive in the body first. A guided scan to notice what's present before we begin — tension, sensation, emotion, numbness. No pressure to feel anything in particular.

"The Mountain Is You": the assigned chapter meets the lesson. Where the words on the page land in the body this week.

GROUP PRACTICE
A somatic or breathwork practice done together; witnessed, held, and integrated in the group field. This is where the shift happens.

GUIDED MEDITATION + SOUND BATH
Every session ends with a live mindfulness meditation and sound bath led by Nicole. Your body's signal that the work is complete for this week.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A COHORT?
The founding cohort is capped at 10 people. This is intentional, the container only works when it's intimate enough to create real safety and witness.

WHAT IF I MISS A SESSION?
All sessions are recorded and available in the program portal. Life happens. The expectation is consistent presence, but missing a session occasionally won't derail your progress.

IS THIS THERAPY? DO I NEED A THERAPIST?
This is not therapy and Nicole is not a therapist. Sōma+Soul™ is a somatic education and coaching program. Many participants work alongside a therapist, and we encourage it.

I'VE NEVER DONE SOMATIC WORK BEFORE. IS THIS OKAY FOR BEGINNERS?
Yes. The program starts with foundational Recognize work, learning to feel and name what's happening in the body. You don't need prior experience. You need curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT PER WEEK?
The live session are 90-mins per week. Add workbook time, assigned reading, and your own integration practice, realistically 3–4 hours per week total.

Prior work means you're ready to go deeper. Sōma+Soul™ doesn't start over, it goes underneath. Many participants have years of therapy, coaching, or spiritual practice and find this work reaches somewhere nothing else has.
